Frequently Asked Questions
What are the procedures for picking strawberries?
You can get qt and 6 qt containers from us at the stand and you can enjoy tasting the variety of berries we grow while you select the ones you want. It is weighed at the stand where you pay for them by the pound. We suggest using sunscreen out in the fields as wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking. Towels are available at the stand but you may wish to bring your own hand lotion. We ask that you dispose of trash in the trash cans located near the stand and the parking lot. Exit Signs are posted to help you safely leave to the main street. Drive slowly on the farm roads and watch out for children who may wander into the pathways.
Can we bring our own containers?
Yes, we encourage you to use your own shallow containers. We will weigh them before they are filled and subtract their weight from your total to determine the final weight.
How are the u-pick fruits priced?
They are weighed and priced by the pound. We offer some freshly picked quart containers for those who are not able to pick their own. They are marked with their prices.
